Due to increased stream flows, I Bhargav Patel, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, issue a Surety 8 Flood Take for the Nile River.
Water may now be taken by licensees under Surety 8 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.
This notice takes effect from Midday Monday, 22 July 2024 and will remain in force until 12 Midday Friday, 26 July 2024 or the Nile River as measured at the Deddington gauging station falls below 23ML/d.
