Due to a large amount of rainfall in the upper catchment, I Bhargav Patel, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, issue an Opportunistic Take for the Swan River.
Water may now be taken by licensees under opportunistic take for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.
This notice takes effect from Midday Wednesday, 10 July 2024 and will remain in force until 12 Midday Monday, 15 July 2024 or the Swan River as measured at the Grange gauging station falls below 500ML/d.
